Archgoat is a black metal group that formed in Finland in 1989. There are three band members: Angelslayer (vocals/bass), Ritual Butcherer (guitar) and Blood Desecrator (drums). Their first demo, ''Jesus Spawn'', was released in 1992. They are known for their anti-Christian themed lyrics and death metal style. The members of Archgoat openly identify with the philosophy of Satanism, and the Occult. Comparisons are often made between this band and the black metal band Beherit. Archgoat, Beherit and other bands such as Impaled Nazarene and Barathrum helped to establish the black metal scene in Finland. This eventually lead to the Norwegian-Finnish conflict from 1992 to 1993 known as the "Dark War".Source: Wikipedia
