Blackpool Lights was an indie rock band founded in Kansas City, Missouri, by former Get Up Kids guitarist Jim Suptic, bassist Brian Everard, and drummer Billy Brimblecom.

==History==
The band was originally formed in 2004, soon after Jim Suptic had finished recording the final Get Up Kids album, Guilt Show. There was a good deal of tension within the band, and Jim had written several songs that he felt didn't fit The Get Up Kids. After the band decided to break up in 2005, Blackpool Lights became his primary focus.Source: Wikipedia
