Glenn Lewis Frey (pronounced ''Fry'', born November 6, 1948) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as one of the founding members of the rock band Eagles.
==Early life==
Frey was born in Detroit, Michigan.<ref>[http://www.michiganhistorymag.com/extra/rockroll/frey.html Glen Frey of the Eagles - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee;]</ref >Growing up in Royal Oak, Michigan, he became part of the mid-1960s Detroit rock scene.
