SHOW-YA Karaoke

SHOW-YA karaoke is a female heavy metal/hard rock band from Japan.

Formed in 1982, the band won a musical grand prix sponsored by Yamaha, which resulted in a record contract with Toshiba EMI. Their debut album Masquerade Show was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, and was promoted by Coca Cola. After a successful release, they returned to Abbey Road to record their second album ''Queendom'' the following year. In 1987, the band was approached by producer Andy Johns (Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones) who requested to work with the band. Relocating to the United States, this collaboration led to the albums ''Immigration'' and ''Glamour'' being recorded. At this time, Show-Ya became associated with acts such as Vixen, and Lita Ford.Source: Wikipedia
