Sôber

Sôber is the name of a Spanish Alternative Rock band, noted in the U.S. for their similarity to American band Tool. They released their first album, ''Torcidos,'' as "Sober Stoned."

Sôber formed in 1993. They are most notably famous in their hometown of Madrid, Spain. In 1997 they produced their first full length album, "Torcidos." It was a self-produced album. Shortly after the album was released, Sôber quickly hit the studios again. Their song, "La Prisión del Placer" was highly recognized and was praised in an issue of Heavy Rock magazine. The group soon after began to gain more popularity, not only from their home country, but from around the world. Sôber then joined ''Rocksoul studios'', who helped them with the production of a few songs. The band parted ways with the studio and soon after, Sôber began recording with Zero Records. In September 1998 the group launched an EP titled "Condenado." Source: Wikipedia
