Hello everyone!!! We've been getting a large number of emails reporting occasional 'out of sync' issues. If your recording is out of sync the reason is because Stereo Mix has not been selected in the Recording Options. If you use XP as your operational system then the following instructions apply to you:

To activate the Stereo Mix in XP, first we have to open the Recordings Controls window. You can do this by rolling your mouse over the speaker icon located on the task bar. To continue, you right-click your mouse and choose the Adjust audio properties option. As a new window pops up, choose the Audio option. In the Sound Recording section click on Audio. Under the Audio window, click on Volume and the Record Master will appear on the Recording Controls window.

The Stereo Mix depends on the sound card. Be aware it can be listed with different names (Record Master, Stereo Mix, Mixer, What You Hear, etc), You only have to activate the Record Master or Stereo Mix on the Recordings Controls window, choose the click on Options so you can properly record your favorite karaokes.

If by any chance the Stereo Mix or Record Master is not listed on the Recording Controls window, this omission can affect the tone-adjustment control feature or cause possible “out of sync” issues. If by any chance, you cannot find and choose the Stereo Mix or Record Master options then we highly advice you to contact the manufacturer. For instance, Dell creates its own drivers for their sound cards. If this is a problem, you will have to visit the manufacturer’s website, download, and install the driver onto your computer – if necessary.

There’s tons of stuff to do over the summer. Some people opt for getting back in shape and work out a lot. Others take a break from work or school and decide to go on a trip.  No matter what people do, summer is about having fun, hanging out at the beach, pool, theme parks, picnics and perhaps catching a movie. Not to mention, concerts and movies in the park, etc. Maybe it’s just chilling out with friends and record some karaokes or going to a karaoke club or bar. Yeah, I know some of you like to hit the malls and shop until you drop. The air conditioning is a plus too ;), especially with the record temperatures we’ve been experiencing lately.
 

And for those of you who love being surrounded by nature, we suggest you go on a nature walk. This can be so relaxing and fun, especially when you pack a picnic with you. Also, local organizations are always looking for a few good people willing to donate their spare time in support of something honorable. And for those of you who are on vacation from college, maybe it’s time to get that internship that can enhance your resume and future career.

At Red Karaoke, we are curious as to what you enjoy doing in the summer. Perhaps get together with friends or family and record your favorite karaokes and refine those singing skills….not a bad idea! While at it, you can also visit our forums and chat. This is an excellent way for you to get in touch with other karaoke fans who share similar tastes in music or just simply share some thoughts or ideas.

OK…so  4th of July is here and we can’t  wait to the 3 day weekend. The thought of barbecue, fireworks, time out with family and friends is just too tempting. In the meantime, those of us on Red Karaoke would like to join the celebration and share with you an assortment of classic tunes in case you have the time to show off you real colors.

So let’s not forget what our Independence Day is all about. It’s a day when we honor the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Also, it is a day of picnics, patriotic parades, a night of concerts, and most importantly, a reason to wave the American flag proudly.  Let’s pay some tribute to our great country by honoring the United States.  So join us in singing along with Uncle Sam and show the whole world why America is ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave’.  Go USA!!!
