VMAs Update: Chris Brown’s “Forever”
Singing R&B superstar Chris Brown has it going on. MTV announced the five nominees for the VMAs "Video of the Year " category and Chris Brown's clip "Forever" is part of the list. But it will not be that easy though for Chris Brown to take home the award.
The list of competitors include the likes of Jonas Brothers, The Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and The Ting Things. As for "Forever", the video was directed by Joseph Kahn. The production is being touted as futuristic with spectacular footwork by Chris Brown. Reportedly, the 18 year old star is rumored to be currently dating another music star: Rihanna. Both have been sighted together on vacation in Barbados and shopping for a condo in Beverly Hills. Nice lifestyle!
But Chris Brown is also competing for two other awards in the 2008 MTV VMAs, which are the Best Male Video and Best Dancing in a Video. The VMAs will take place at the Paramount Pictures studio in Hollywood on September 7 at 6pm EST.
And just in case you did not know it, Britney Spears will be opening the show. Oh boy…can't miss that! I guess we're gonna have to tune in Sept. 7 to find out. Oh by the way, here are the nominees for 2008 MTV VMAs "Video of the Year":
