Pink Floyd’s Richard Wright Dies at 65

The world's rock establishment is mourning the loss of Richard Wright, keyboardist and one of the original founders of the acclaimed rock band Pink Floyd Wright passed away as a result of a prolongued battle with cancer at the age of 65. Wright together with Roger Waters and Nick Mason formed one of the best rock bands in history leaving us a legacy of over 40 years of classic artistic trajectory.

Wright wrote songs and sang on Floyd classics such as "Time" and "Echoes." On an interview for Billboard magazine in reference to Pink Floyd's stardom, Wright was quoted saying, "Oh, God, I don't understand it. All you writers need to talk about that. I know we've made some great songs and great music, but I can't tell you why we're so popular."

So in light of the sad news we, at Red Karaoke, would like to acknowledge the life and work of Richard Wright and the rest of the band with a small proof of appreciation on our blog. For all those fans of Pink Floyd we present you here with over 20 songs available in the Red Karaoke database.
