The single 'So What' is the # 1 track in the album and so far has had a warm welcome from the press and critics. It has rapidly risen to the top of the charts not only in the United States, but also in the United Kingdom. In fact, on September 7 Pink performed "So What" live at the 2008 American MTV Video Music Awards.

Other "Funhouse" hits are "Sober" and "Please Don't Leave Me" and her U.K. number 1 hit "Just Like A Pill". Among the album collaborators include Butch Walker, Max Martin, Billy Mann, MachoPsycho, Eg White, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Micky Drew, and Danja. So, the boys of Oasis are back in biz. Yeah, and this time they released their new production titled "Dig Out Your Soul". The album contains 11 tracks, among them the popular track "The Shock of the Lightning", which is actually getting a lot of radio airtime across the country. The new album was out on stores last October 6th, 2008.

Throughout its career the all-male quartet from Manchester, England has done quite well. So far, Oasis has managed sell over 50 million records worldwide and its popularity and relevancy have remained intact. In an effort to promote the forthcoming album, the band has embarked on a world tour that started in Seattle, Washington and that will take them to countries such as Mexico, Canada, France, Germany England, Scotland, and Wales.

After months of intense labor of love, today we are unveiling a series of new features and changes on Red Karaoke. With this in mind, our objective is to make the user the primary focus of the all-new Red Karaoke homepage and to offer a more comprehensive and overall satisfying online experience.

The first feature is our homepage that has undergone a complete and radical change. The new Red Karaoke homepage marks a significant new look n' feel. The previous homepage had static content and not enough space to promote your recordings and videos. Today, we present a homepage full of interactive features  and new everyday updates. And most importantly, our new homepage download time is way faster than the old one.

But before going over the complete re-design we'd like to share with you some of the new functionalities added to the new homepage.

Upload your videos to Red Karaoke TV

For a while, Red Karaoke members were able to do webcam recordings. However, we heard from you that this was not enough. We understand the webcam does not provide with options for expressing your full creative potential. Among other things, with a webcam you are not able to edit your videos, you can't record from anywhere except from home, and the fact that not everyone has a webcam. So in light of the limitations, we have built this infrastructure for you to be able to record and upload your videos from your PC. Problem solved!

On this new video section, you can upload videos recorded with your video camera, photo camera o even with video clips from your cellphone. On the homepage all videos uploaded to Red Karaoke will be highlighted. These new videos will also be featured on the user profile and users will be able to share them with external parties. The objective in mind is to maximize user exposure of your creative singing and video production skills.

Although these new videos uploaded from your PC will be able to capture votes and comments, they will not be taken into account for the Red Karaoke ranking. The reason being that these are edited videos from karaoke parties, concerts, castings and other themes so it would not make any sense to mix them up with traditional Red Karaoke singing recordings. Therefore, the edited videos (those not recorded with a webcam) will have their own separate ranking, so they will not influence at all the singing ranking standings.

So now there are no excuses for you to start uploading your videos asap! 

And now you can also create your own blog

Red Karaoke members stand out, above all, because of their creativity, not only as music fans, but also in many other areas such as writing. All you have to do is look at the long comments posted on our forums.

Given that you had asked us to have more flexibility on your profile, we concluded that a blog would fit in perfect with your aspirations. You can use the blog feature for anything you might want to share such as personal or professional topics. You can also use the blogs to showcase your essays, photos, poems, songs…etc. Anything goes…so all you have to do is activate your blog, personalize it and start writing your web diaries.

Needless to say, the blog will also have a section on your user profile so you can use it as a platform to promote your videos and songs!. Anyway, you must wait for a few days to enjoy this exciting feature: we will launch this new service in the coming days. Stay tuned!

The new homepage

Going back to the homepage, now the Red Karaoke team has several sections where to highlight new features and specials, including the most popular and interesting Red Karaoke latest trends; popular music, videos, people, contests and opinions. In essence, Red Karaoke will aggregate all of our user-generated content and filter it to bring you the most popular and updated items.

We are also reserving a space to showcase recent new uploaded karaoke recordings. A new tab will facilitate users to find the most popular artists. Similarly, on the right side of the homepage you will find a series of direct shortcuts pointing to sections of interest such as the help center, tips for recording, etc.. The idea is to simplify the site's navigation. 

However, the most distinctive feature of the new homepage is the central part. We wanted to provide you with more space to highlight your best user-generated recordings thus empowering you to show the world your unmatched creativity and energy.

But we also wanted for this central video section to be flexible enough and rotate constantly with new videos. So,, the featured content on this central  section will contain the most popular videos recorded with a webcam or uploaded during the last 10 days. 

As for the Red Karaoke ranking, this one remains on the homepage with one particular adjustment: we have eliminated the profile photo to accomodate all rankings. From most popular singers in your country to best debuts and global ranking, you will now have them all on the all-new homepage.

But on Red Karaoke more things can be done than just recording videos. Thus, we wanted you to have on the homepage an area to showcase all the day-today updated action and the constant user-generated material.  From most recent videos to karaoke recordings and blog postings the new homepage is a clear indication of how focused Red Karaoke is on user-generated content and in bringing to our community of users a unique slab of 'web 2.0' functionality: 

And to finish up with the homepage, we have decided to add a complete directory of karaokes whereby you will be able to access our large database of karaokes (over 17,500 and growing). Now you can find the karaokes of your choice based on genre, song type, language, etc. In addition, you will have the ability to access and find your favorite singers by browsing our alphabetical list of artists and bands.
