In honor of the King and his glorious career at the top of pop, I´ve selected 5 of my favorite renditions here on Red Karaoke of some of Michael Jackson´s classics. Take a look at some of Red Karaoke User´s best performances.

First on my list is Nabe, a user of Red Karaoke Japan, who recorded a beautiful rendition of Ben. Michael Jackson performed this hit as a teenager for Motown in 1972. Although at that time the single reached #1 for one week in the USA, making it his first top single as a solo artists, the song received even greater popularity after it appeared on his album of the same name, winning a Golden Globe for Best Song and nomination for an Academy Award of Best Original Song.

Next is an MJ classic, Billie Jean performed in an original style by Drizzy. The single, based on a true life experience, was released on the album Thriller and became one of the best selling records of 1983. Considered one of history´s most recolutionary song, Billie Jean recieved numerous awards, including induction into the Music Video Hall of Fame and helped Thriller become one of the highest sellings albums of all time. Without a doubt, this is one of the songs that sealed Jackson´s fame as a pop icon.

After the death of Michael Jackson last week, many Red Karaoke users decided to honor him by singing some of his most moving songs. One of the best results of these efforts was Milesdestiny´s rendition of Heal the World.For Micheal Jackson, who has the honor of having donated more money to charities than any other celebrity world wide, Heal the World is what he considers his proudest musical achievement and also the theme song of his charitable foundation of the same name.

Another great effort in response to Jackson´s death here on Red Karaoke was Sophia83´s heart breaking rendition of You are not alone.The single, released in 1995, was originally written and coproduced by R. Kelly, and was Michael Jackson´s last number one single in the USA, a moving single for him in response to many troubles in his personal life and in dealing with the media.

And last but not least, a very creative and great rendition of We are the world by Ichimuan, accompanied by a fun video. We are the world was written by Jackson with the help of Lionel Richie, and performed by 45 major stars in an effort to help raise money as aid to Africa in 1985.
