I have to agree with the others. I never knew that Billy Ray Cyrus ever did this one, or anything like it. I was pleasantly surprised to know it, but not at all surprised at how well you did this old Merle Haggard song. You have such a beautiful voice, and the only thing I can say is "Please record more songs, I love your music, your voice, your selection of songs."

You are a man who means what he sings. It shows. I love this song. I recorded this song with a female quartet called The Burning Vessels about 17 years ago. We were even on local radio stations. This song always spoke to my heart. Still does when I hear someone like you sing it and mean it. Nothing in the world like a good ol' country cowboy to know who made him.
