skin deep - area 7

A plastic suit & no cause of death.
Everyday fish, don't need to hold their breath.
Was he lookin' for something to do?
Did he have something to say...
Or was he just trying - to run away?
Reality.....is only skin deep.
I'd much prefer not to be a white sheep.
He wonders why everybody thinks he seems so strange...
but it really doesn't matter when reality is only skin deep.
An accident, changed the course of his life.
When you're a fish you don't need a wife.
Took to plastic with a needle & thread...
made him feel like a king.
He'd take it to the river side
& he'd jump right in....
Right from the start his way of life was doomed.
Kept his single life, locked in his single room.
Nobody knew about it...
never knew there was something wrong.
His plastic world, could never last too long...
