Everybody's got a right to fight

A total stranger, a life in danger
No one knows where they fit in, where they belong
A world in chaos, so many lives lost
Take a look around, where did it all go wrong?
So many years, so many chances
To make a change, to get it right
Too many egos, getting in the way
So many reasons to stand and fight
How many lives does it take
For the world to take a stand?
The wheels keeps turning
And the world keeps burning
The time for change is at hand
Everybody's got a right to freedom
Everybody's got a right to fight
Everybody's got a right to live
Everybody's got a right to survive
Turn on the TV, pick up the paper
A generation torn apart before our eyes
Such desperation, and no salvation
No one left to help or even hear their cries
History repeats itself
So why do we never learn
So do we just keep falling down
To the point of no return
How many lives does it take
For the world to take a stand?

So little hope left for any others
